Antiquary Arago's Diary

Antiquary Arago's Diary is a crime novel by the Turkish author Mehmet Murat ildan, published (in Turkish) in Istanbul by the "Truva Publishing House" (Truva Yayinlari) in August 2005.

It takes place in the John Constable Country in the 19th century England. A famous and wealthy aristocratic novelist Gregory Morgan, living in a small village in Dedham-Essex, decides to write a crime novel.

His wife Elizabeth persuades him that no fiction can be superior to reality. She offers her husband to meet a real murderer so that he can deeply examine and understand the true nature of murderers...
A different version of the novel exists as a theatre play, Emmanuel Arago’s Diary which was translated into English by Yurdanur Salman a well-known linguist in Istanbul.
